1. Are ladies allowed to apply for Railway examination?
Yes. Ladies are encouraged to apply in railways. But, there are some job profiles which are strenuous and can’t be suitable for the ladies.
2. How is the exam center allocated in the Railway examination?
During the second stage of the Online Registration, candidates can choose up to five cities for the exam. RRB management will make efforts to allot your exam center in one of these five options. However, in case of any exigency, RRB reserves the right to allot the exam center in any other city also.
3. What are psychometric tests?
The main purpose of psychometric tests are assessments conducted to evaluate the overall candidate performance which includes personality traits, knowledge, skills, attitudes, abilities, and potential for the job being applied to.
4. How long will it take for the Railway Recruitment Board to conduct the written examinations?
Examinations are organized in about four months’ time from the closing date of the notification. Yes. Candidates with 12 years of schooling through an examination conducted by a Board/University or students passed an entrance test conducted by the university. Besides, candidates who are under 18 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission to the course are not eligible.
